Stories matter.

As a storyteller, I tell stories: stories that help me make sense of the world, create connections between us, and bring delight.

As a naturalist, I tell stories: of the individual animals I work with, “why” stories that people have used to explain natural history, natural history itself, stories that help us connect to the natural world and to one another.

As an artist, I tell stories: showing the details that might be missed when viewing an animal, showing relationships, evoking a single image from a traditional tale.
